Bardiya National Park

Bardiya National Park, which is famous for Bengal tigers lies in Bardiya district that is in the western part of Nepal. Besides Tiger, Wild elephants and One horned Rhino are also one of the major attraction of the park. Bardiya also has more than 250 species of birds, including Bengal florican and sarus crane.
Gharial, marsh muggar crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins are also the major attraction for visitors that are often seen on rafting and canoe trips along the Geruwa river, the eastern channel of Karnali river. Despite of this dense forest and good number of rare animals less tourist prefer this area  because it is far from capital city Kathmandu and lack of promotion too. Many organizations are involved in this park for the preservation of Tigers. People who likes forest or jungle safari can keep this place in your trip list.
