Chitawn National Park- a place where tourist visit who are fond of wildlife that is only about 4/5 hours far from Kathmandu and Pokhara by bus. Besides tourist, local visitors are also found in larger number in this place. It offers various jungle as well as cultural activities like Elephant Ride, Jungle Safari, Canoeing Trip, Tharu cultural dance, etc.
Except rainy season this place is preferable in all time, especially in January/February. One horned Rhino is the major attraction of this national park where Bengal tigers are also few in numbers. There is Elephant Breeding Center inside this national park as well and a museum too. Crocodiles are found in larger number along Rapti river which flows alongside this national park. It consist of various standard hotels near this park which provides quality services.
