Phewa Lake

Phewa Lake is the heart of the Pokhara city located in the western region. It is considered as one of the longest lake of Nepal where a temple Taal Barahi is in the middle of the lake. Large number of local as well as foreign tourists is attracted by this lake as it is taken as a place to forget all your sadness.
In front of this beautiful lake you can see Peace Stupa at the top of hills on the west side of lake where you can reach by boating and some kilometers hiking from Phewa Lake. You can also enjoy the beautiful mountainous views of Machhapuchre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri from this lake in the north and an adventure paragliding in the sky adds beauty to this lake. You can find various restaurants on the side of this gorgeous lake. You can chill and enjoy the panoramic view of this place. Taal barahi temple situated on the lake is crowded my Nepalese people as it is dedicated to Hindu god lord Vishnu. Foreigners mostly loves adventure Paragliding up above the sky.
